House On York offers elegant, well-appointed en-suite rooms, individually decorated with style and comfort. It is set in Kensington South, Johannesburg within walking distance of beautiful antique shops and quaint little coffee shops in famous Queen Street. The peace and tranquility bellies the close proximity to the highway, three exciting shopping malls and a wide selection of excellent restaurants.

Our location is ideal for easy access to the main business districts of Bedfordview, Edenvale, Germiston, Sandton and the city centre. Within a two-kilometer radius you will find the Bedford Gardens Hospital, the new Bedford Centre, Park Meadows and Eastgate shopping centres. There you will find a gym, Ster Kinekor cinema nouveau and Nu Metro movie theater, and of course many shops and restaurants. We are approximately 10 kilometers from OR Tambo International Airport. House On York also offers a beauty salon for those who need to relax and be spoiled hair dressing facility can be arranged. We have on display a variety of paintings by local artists that are available for purchase. Four double rooms en-suite. One twin rooms en-suite with kitchenette.

Our rooms all have TV, DStv, telephone and hospitality trays for your comfort. Guests have access to the elegant and comfortable, communal lounge with a fireplace and television. The dining room overlooks a sparkling swimming pool and beautiful garden filled with bird life. A delicious breakfast can be enjoyed in the dinning room or, weather permitting, on the patio personally supervised by your host. Lunch and dinner will be provided on request.
